I don't think he was ever convicted of anything. And each case went away or he was acquitted.

Having been around controlling adults since before he had pubes, it's really not hard to imagine that he really did want to experience the innocent stage that most of us went through (except those of you who were abused and molested I guess). Quincy Jones described the first time he met MJ. Paraphased, "His older brothers were hitting on the groupies while MJ sat alone in the corner of the room like nobody else existed."

To slam him, or focus on events which may have never happened is pretty ignorant when everything else he's known for is so far beyond the potential of any of his contemporaries, or anyone out there today except maybe Madonna.

It's not like OJ, who's prosecutors screwed up their case, and who was successfully sued outside the CJS. MJ's cases went away definitively. He was either aquitted or settled. If he touched your kid's dick, would you settle for a wad of cash. Some would, I'm sure, but those very same sorts are the ones who would make it up in the first place. The cases settled because they were bullshit, but embarrasing. And I know only the tinniest number of you have actually done enough research into this to give yourselves permission to insinuate that he's a pedophile. That's fair isn't it? If you're going to convey to others that you feel someone's a pedophile, than shouldn't you be really really really fucking sure.

I do think he is a pedofile. He loves children, way too much. Enough to let them sleep in his bed. And, do you honestly think that the accusers made up stories, saying that he molested them? There has got to be a reason behind that, because if someone gets molested, they are not going to lie about it. A 12-13 year old wouldn't have made that shit up.

My seven year old sees me bare from time to time, when I'm showering and he can't wait to use the bathroom. Compared to his little one incher, I probably seem ginormous. It's funny, but possible that he may just tell a friend, and that friend a teacher or other adult. That could present an odd, though unlikely, situation for me. If I had millions, and that kid could be linked more directly to me, I might very well have a serious headache to deal with. Once when I lived in San Francisco, I was standing naked in the kitchen when some little neighbor punk decided he was going to go home via the fire escape. He could draw a roadmap of everything right down to my tattoo, yet I never met the kid (and never walked around the apt nkd again).

And regarding the affidavit....the affidavit is what someone states, and that brings us right back to the integrity of the witness. And just today the supreme court ruled that a defendant has the right to cross examine laboratory personal who certify results in the cases of drugs, or rape, etc. Where as, until today the certified Affidavit from the Chief of the lab was considered expert testimony all by itself. The reason for this is because affidavits or the certificates were found to unreasonably sway testimony due to their wording, and that when the anaylists were interviewed during the appeals process, the impression left behind by the interview was often not as strongly biased as when the written testimoney appeared in court. It's no different than if you were to read one newspaper article, and then talk to a few people with first hand knowledge. The newspaper article may or may not have come to the same conclusion you did with your closer examination of the details.
