Michael Jackson has had as much, if not more, impact on this country than any senator, represintative, governor, president, soldier(hate to say) than anyone over the last 30 years. am i saying its right? no. am i saying its ok? no. but the fact remains, he influenced race relations, broke down barriers, and is a cultural icon.

why do you guys keep tryin to compare him to soldiers and what not? sorry you werent fans but you cant deny his impact on this country and the world.

people get butt hurt over this, but thats your problem. the man was a musical genius that broke down barriers. sorry if you cant respect that.

I agree 100%. The media charged and convicted MJ. The court did not. The same happened with Scott Peterson and many others. The media convicts people with tainted views (guilty until proven innocent) and then the jurors already have guilty in their head when it comes time for jury selection. Nobody ever has a fair trial in this country anymore. Even worse when people (including everyone on this site) say things like "Michael Jackson is a child molester", then our justice system has failed because you have now convicted this man without a fair and impartial trail. A fair and impartial trial is one of those things that separates this country from other countries...but the fair and impartial part has gone down the drain.

I don't think it's reasonable to be up in arms over a media geared moment of silence for MJ. It was just something they needed to do for the cameras. We have veterans day, memorial day every year. We aren't going to have a Michael Jackson national holiday. I don't see 40 to 50 ribbons on bumpers during my commute everyday supporting MJ. He got one moment of silence....big deal.

I know Emmanual Lewis, and Corey Feldman all hung with MJ when they were young kids and said he didn't try anything weird. I am not saying he has never did anything.. it's just all kinda.. fishy.
