I'm 223 lbs today. Put on about 5 lbs from last week. lol

Hitting the weight pile more and more though. I hope to really be disciplined with my diet at work this week.

I'd like to see 195-200 again.

MF, again - you're growing. You may have one more period of time in you where you will gain wait before adulthood. The best thing you can do right now as an adolescent is to develop healthy eating and exercise habits that you can carry with you for a lifetime.

This is part of the problem in the US today - when I was growing up, we were not fully aware of the dangers of junk food and how not exercising would effect us, therefore, we didn't exercise and we ate junk food because it tasted good and filled us up. We obeyed the "3 squares a day" meal plan which always included meat and starch - veggies were optional and we were all members of "The Clean Plate Club" because there were people starving in Ethiopia.

If you Mom isn't teaching you these things, then you will be fine. Just keep active - don't sit in front of the TV or Computer for hours on end - get out and do something. Eat right and exercise. That is the simple plan for all of us really. But for you, you are developing these ideas in your youth and I'm confident you won't ever have weight issues because you realize the importance already.

You're not fat. We've already told you this.
I'm already eating pretty healthy for the most part, I just had two pieces of mint candy and 2 coconut dip candies today, nothing else classified as junk food. Tomorrow I won't be eating any junk.

I need to excercise more, but for the past 2 days I've been doing laundry, cleaning, and the dishes for my mom which takes several hours total because she just got her gall bladder removed last Tuesday(gall stones), so I don't have much time to. But that housework does burn calories and it makes my legs/feet/back sore. I was probably standing up/walking for a total of 4 hrs or more.

I know I'm not fat, don't worry, I just want to tone some muscles(pecks/ triceps/abs/traps/obliques) and largen some muscles(pecks/traps/biceps/triceps). I'm not miserable with my looks now, I'm pretty ok with them, but I aspire to look better.

I don't think I will ever will have much weight issues unless I have a job that makes me go without food that doesn't allow healthy food to be very available.

It's probably just that time of the month.

I take a lunch bag with me - throw in all kinds of healthy things and an ice pack. I do not come home hungry but I'm munching most of the day on one thing or another.

Get a quart baggie and throw in an assortment of cut fresh veggies - and a small container of roasted garlic hummus - it's great protein and all that veg will fill you up and keep your tummy full for a long time.

Beans on a salad is another good source of protein - filling - lots of fiber...

One of my favorites is taking frozen berries/fruit and putting some in the bottom of a shallow tupperware bowl - then pour a cup of yogurt (Lite N Fit) over the frozen fruit. Throw it in your lunch bag with an ice pack on top of it - about 10am it's crystalized like a frozen yogurt snack I like to put some Uncle Sam cereal on it and mix it up. That's a mini meal in itself.

Shopping today with the boy - still sore from all the yard work yesterday. Will walk tomorrow.

Breakfast was at about 11:30 - had one cup of coffee, one cup of yogurt over fresh blueberries with Uncle Sam cereal.

Lunch - hmmmm....I think I managed to skip it since I ate breakfast so late.

Eagle Court of Honor today - did have a piece of cake - guess that was technically my lunch.

Dinner - corn on the cob, grilled veggies.

Managed no meat today! Will be easier at work....

-stay away from fast food
-eat chicken and fish
-eat fruits and vegetables
-eat almonds and nuts- in moderation!
-understand that being hungry is quite often just like smoking. It's addictive and habitual. Practice eating three healthy meals a day with a few healthy snacks in between, and focus on that, not on your hunger.
-exercise

If you get hungry, drink a glass of water. And try drinking plenty of water during a meal, it takes up space and is also great for the lower intestines.

Actually if you wait til you are hungry, it's too late. Schedule snacks so that you aren't ever hungry and your body will burn the food more efficiently because it knows it will be fed again soon. Stop feeding it at regular intervals and it starts storing energy in the form of fat.

And why, kind Sir, are you grumpy? Not gettin' any?

It's easier at work because I'm on a schedule at work - at home I'm not - I'm running all over hells half acre for my kids.

I can't list my individual meals here every day obviously.

So far this week though, I've eaten about 3 shitty snacks, one order of bacon and eggs, over easy, dru wheat toast, tomato slices in lieu of potatoes, and the rest has been healthy. A couple dinners of lemon tilapia and a small portion or brown rice, an order of grilled chicken breasts, salad, and veggies.... and s few granola bars. I always drink healthy, no sodas. Lots of water, a few juices, and a little milk and a couple of vitamin waters. One red bull so far.

Still doing the exercises I do on the road.

Today i had a banana, and oatmeal with milk in it for breakfast, lunch was last nights leftovers...ran 1.5 mi on the track, ran first 3 laps and the last 3 i sprinted the straightaways and walked the curves.

BTW, running when you first wake up sucks...you are in negative calorie zone, which makes you hungry all day long!

But that it's how you get fit. Your body has very little calories stored when you wake up so instead of burning stored calories, it burns stored fat.

I feel happy now, last night I looked in the mirror, flexed my abs, and pulled my stomach skin down so it would be tight, and I swear I could see all 3 of my right side abs(half of a six pack lmao), so I guess that means I'm getting somewhat close to a six pack.

maybe its how your body burns fat, but if you eat right and exercise regularly your body shouldn't be storing much fat, which means you are just gonna chow down on more calories trying to fill up from the morning.

I'm off the proverbial wagon. That lasted all of about a week.

Went out with the girls tonight and blew off steam. So....tomorrow is another day.

The solution to that all day hunger is drinking water.

Best thing to do is make the simple changes that will last. You may not see the results as quickly as you might like but they will be come. Switch to whole wheat pasta's and bread's. Dont buy cookies, dounuts and stuff like that, if its not in the house you wont eat it. keep healthy snacks around. Jello and pudding snack packs dont have much in em to hurt a diet. If you eat smart, foods that are hard to digest you burn more calories digesting them and stay fuller longer. The less processed the better. At the very least your eating health and wont be putting on 5-10 lbs a year.

Mama this ain't alcoholism or drug addiction you'r battling.

Having a bad meal or day does not constitute falling off the wagon.

Just strive to have more good meals than bad, more good days than bad, and gradually improve.

Had a steak today, salad, chicken soup, two eggs, dry wheat toast, a half a grapefruit, lots of water, a little milk, and a little o.j.

I hit the weights hard while making a delivery in Middletown Ohio. did bi's, tri's, shoulders, and a bunch of situps and pushups.

In the heat. While delivering. Wearing work boots, nomex fire retardent coveralls, and ear protection.

I sweat like a pig, doing that, and in fact I am about to hit the shower at the yard. Been on duty since 3 am, and it's going to be another 3 hours before I can lay down. I have 4 trailers to move before I can drop my empty and pick up my load, then we have to cross the border, and I have two three deliveries to make. rossford Ohio, Delta Ohio, and Butler Indiana. Then I will probably wind up driving in into the terminal, then four hours home, then a couple hours sleep, then I am going to some concert with Taylor.

Gonna be a long two days.
