i really need to start working out again. ever since i graduated highschool ive gained about 10 pounds.

im going to get p90x but for now its...

Breakfast: Bowl of mini wheats

Lunch: Spaghetti, small bag of chips, and a coke.

Dinner: not sure yet. probably a frozen pizza

Exercise : walking around all day in 100 degree weather with no clouds sweating my ass off.


i really need to start eating better but its hard to excersice and eat right when you work full time and go to school full time.

Thanks! Working hard at it this week - my beloved Fat Smash isn't working for me though - I'm working way too hard and it's not giving me the protein I need.

I went to the gym 3 times this week - got two amazing workouts with the PT. Did an hour and 20 minutes of cardio myself tonight.

I'm exhausted.

Hey guys, just wanted you to know that I'm doing pretty good here. No diet involved, but I have been working out everyday. I ate 4800 calories yesterday, and I could feel the whopper go right into my biceps last night at 130AM. Thought I would share with you.

fm1r, i need to get on your diet. i cant gain weight, im im too lazy to go to the dining hall all the time to eat enough to gain weight. im 190lbs, trying to get to 200, but i need to work out more and eat a dumptruck load more to get their.

i suppose ill go do some pushups and situps now while i wait for my laundry to finish, then ill head to the dining hall, then library.

is it bad to do pushups and situps and pullups every day? they're just body weight exercises...

blah...gonna try to get back on track this week...the fiance' has been tryin to get me into golf, and bought clubs for me...I told him that if he doesn't eat well and work out with me at least 3 days a week, i'm not golfing on sundays. I can't diet with the other person here eating every kind of fast food in front of me on a daily basis

well, folks... i'm on the bandwagon. my wife and i just got p90x. started my diet today. and i'm starting the workouts tomorrow. i'm excited about this. i haven't been in any kind of shape since high school.
as for the diet, to day i had...

b'fast: 5 egg whites, 3 strips of turkey bacon.

lunch: turkey breast sandwich with lettuce and tomato (no mayo, cause it's gross)

dinner: grilled chicken salad with no dressing (also gross, to me)

snacks: 1/4 cup cashews, cliff protein bar.

it's gonna be hard for me to give up my normal vices. i did the math on how much sugar i was taking in from sodas alone. and it added up to almost 10 lbs/month. that's way too much sugar. and that was just from sodas. i'm stoked about getting back into shape. i'll be sure to do the douche bag thing and post the before and after pics in 90 days.

Again, hard for me to spell out individual day accomplishments.


This past week in general I ate awesome.

I filled my electric cooler in the truck with blackberries, strawberries, apples, grapes, milk, welch's grape juice, some of that acai berry juice, vitamin waters, low fat yogurt, and peaches. I ate that all week, along with some plain almonds and granola bars for snacking.

For meals, I did well. Had sausage and eggs once in 5 days, other than that had oatmeal and dry wheat toast for breakfast. For dinner I had meatloaf once, but other than that I had fish (lemon tilapia), no potatoes, double vegetables, and a chicken stir fry on brown rice once.

Worked out to muscle failure twice, my typical routine with my 35 lb dumbells along with stretches, pushups (up to two sets of 40 still), and situps.

Didn't lose anything this week, but I'm toned up a little, and holding at 220 lbs.
