Get Fit Thread
Okay guys and gals....it's time to quit making excuses and cut the bull$#!t.
Get up off the couch and move! Eat to live don't live to eat! Here's how it works.... If you want to participate, the rules are simple. Log what you eat and how you exercise daily. Please don't come in here and talk about all the stuff you ate that we can't eat. I will ask a Mod to remove your post if you do. It's hard enough to stick to a plan without someone sabotaging your every move. You can post up before/after pics if you want - even post up your current weight if you want. But it's not required. Here's what your posts should resemble: Date: Aug 1, 2009 Breakfast: Oatmeal, peach Lunch: Salad - romaine lettuce, tomato, cucumber, kidney beans, lite dressing. Dinner: Chicken breast, grilled veggies. Snacks: one hand full of trail mix, celery sticks w/ hummus Exercise: 30 min elliptical, 45 min walking. There isn't any right way that is the best way for everyone - so we should be able to just pick a plan and go with it - everyone can do their own thing... Other than that - just be respectful and support each other and encourage each other to meet each others fitness goals. Ready? Set! GO!!!! |

That would have been todays. I'm not trying to lose weight. I am trying to gain more. I eat 5000 calories a day.

I was doing p90x but I didn't stretch before my ball game and have shin splints. I haven't worked out since Sunday and have been eating horrible. I had to re download the nutrition plan this morning because the one I had only liked being viewed zoomed 300% or 25%.
I will see how it works with my budget. Its hard to pass up crap frozen food when its 90 cents a piece. lol I just solved our health care problem. Make healthy food cheap and bad food expensive.

I lost 70 lbs of fat, added muscle, and have maintained it all for 3 years now. Very helpful websites:
The Daily Plate on LIVESTRONG.COM - Calorie Counter, Weight Loss, Food Calorie Counter, Nutrition Facts | LIVESTRONG.COM helps you track your food. Enter your food, and it tracks all your calories and stuff | Precision Nutrition is strategic system for what to eat, when to eat, how to eat/cook, exercise, how to handle plateaus, etc. The experts paid to run that place are very good. They're legit too - they train olympians, professional athletes, etc.
