If there's any good left in the world, there won't be any more faux-Shelbys, and Ford will return to just having an SVT Cobra.

idk, i read something about the 5.0 when it was still a rumor in an old ass magazine laying beside my shitter. they mentioned ford would have to be retarded to dump the modular motors after all the time and money invested into them.

The 5.0 is definitely confirmed, but the power rating is not.

Wow. I found this thread. I must say this is the most chevy guys i have ever seen act cool about a ford engine. Some even admiting that with the 4.63v as close as it is to the new camaro that this new 5.0 is going to make it tough on them.

Im impressed. new camaro brings new camaro guys.

If the IRS is optional, it won't be worth crap. Ford needs to commit to it or leave it be.

Personally, I'm more concerned about weight. I will NOT buy a car that weighs 3500 lbs or more, and my preference is for cars under 3k. I know the latter won't happen for a Mustang without another fuel crisis, though.
