thats happend to 3 of my f-150's they are bad for clutch packs burning up and spider gears going. my dad had a 03 harley davidson the silver and black 2 tone, he loved that truck but it just wasnt like his lightning thats why he traded it in on a 04 torch red H2 limited edition.

the earlier lightnings didnt, but 02+ (maybe 01 as well) were forged bottom ends. the forged lightning rotating assembly is very very strong. easiest way to tell is the MAF, 90mm trucks were forged. we talking about getting another 5.4 and build it and have it ready to go in. looking into a ported blower as well.

me and him are still talking on what mods we going to do in what order. i think the blower will have to be rebuilt, little rattle coming from nose of it. it will probably be sent to steigemeier for porting and rebuilding.
