Claim Adjusters

So i was in an accident a few weeks back. guy came out of nowhere and t-boned me. Long story short the claim adjuster told me that they didn't know if they were going to cover my car so she told me to call her to call her back the following day that she would know by then.i keep calling her and she never answers the phone plus she doesn't return my calls its been over a week since the last time i spoke to her! i called their 800 # and got the # to her Supervisor, but he doesnt answer his phone either!!! i've left numerous messages but they dont call back.

i was just wondering what your guys thoughts were

It sounds like you have a crappy insurance company.

Contact a lawyer ASAP and be sure to have them reimburse you for the lawyer's fees.

Rarely do agents (the sellers) talk with adjusters and they definitely have different agendas.

When our house burned down our agent (who had been wonderful up to this point) was absolutely useless. When I spoke to our adjuster's supervisor and mentioned that I spoke with our agent regarding the matter at hand, the supervisor laughed and said that agents were not even allowed to speak with adjusters. When I asked why, he said "It's simple. The agent has your best interest in mind while the adjuster has the company's best interest in mind."

I will also mention that I will never again have any type of insurance through State Farm again.

Couple friends of mine work at Geico, and want me to go work for them. They treat their employees quite nicely. I dunno if I trust the gecko with my car or not though.
