fuckin scratched one of my wheels real good damnit. those fuckers are less than a month old. i've got one big scrape covering about 120* of the lip of the wheel. the shittiest part is that the wheels are black so it's extremely obvious. i want to blame mcdonald's for their narrow ass drive-through, but i know i'm the only one responsible.

what are everyone's thoughts on touching it up with spray paint? any tips for prepping the scratch?

Ha, jk man. That happened to me once in front of my apartments when i got my black bullets. Not even 3 days later i scraped and got green paint on them b*tches.

Ouch....I curbed the Cobra rims on my sixxer....thank god just hours before I swapped my bullitt rims over to my Cobra so they weren't the ones that got damaged

sorry for the poor quality. it's night time and i just washed and waxed the car today and gave the wheels a good scrubbing (another reason why i'm so pissed) so there's lots of little glare spots. i marked the larger scratches in red, but it's actually a contiunous scratch.





edit: and before someone says something, i do intend to paint my calipers.

Ouch that fuckin sucks. Al I can think of is to sand the rough parts smooth, and lay down some matching paint over the scuffed areas.

I would be more inclined to find something like touch up paint that matches, like from a dealer, the stuff you use on the car for little chips and such.

If you can't find something that matches, then I guess you're into masking off the rest of the wheel, and spraying the area.

Or paying to have the rim professionally repaired.

Yea that sucks. Maybe find a wheel shop who can do that or a body shop. I know when i bent my lip on 2 of the rims, the tire place recommend a wheel shop who would reheat reshape and paint the wheels for me. Maybe theres something like that around you.

i like the idea of getting it done professionally, but damn i hate spending money... i'll definately look around, but if it costs more than $100, then i'm going to go buy some spray paint.

Yea well def. shop around if you can find a shop that does it for a good price. If not im sure its not gonna be too bad if you diy. Just get the right paint

Meh it could be. I mean if you sand like someone said and only put it on where the scratches are, you will probobly be ok. I dont think anyone will notice if its off a little bit. And it wont look all jacked up.
