Yup...

I was parked out front of a friend's house and all of a sudden these people ring the doorbell. We go up there and these guys say your car got hit. I said, " Don't fucking tell me it's the yellow Mustang..." They said, "Yep, that's the car..."

I ran outside and sure enough, my passenger side is fucked up...

Yup...

The people who told us were supposedly behind the person. It was a (esitmated) 1979 Chevy Caprice, possibly Cutless, brown, driven by a white male. They had the plates, but the officer said the plates were no in the system.

Well, the rear has to be repainted and all. The side scoop needs to be replaced and painted, and the front fender has to be replaced and painted, and the side mirror has to be replaced. It doesn't look bad, but the motor is fucked to hell now.

I'm going to all the body shops tomorrow and letting them know that if they get a car with yellow paint smear and is brown in color, to immediately calls the cops as well as myself.

There was an incident recently here in the area that they found out who killed some people in a hit and run that way...

I have a $500 deductable, but I'm afraid of my insurance going up due to this... It covers uninsured drivers as well.

Damn man, sorry to hear that happened...but glad to hear you do have uninsured coverage! Find out if you will need a deductible for that, every insurance company is different on that.

I'd rather scrape a fucking rim on a curb... I'd rather pay $150 for ONE new rim then pay $500, that I don't have, to get my car fixed plus a possibility of my rates going up for something that I couldn't have prevented...

I get confused all the time by the different types of insurance...but when I was hit by a uninsured driver, it was covered under comprehensive collision or something like that and didn't pay a dime for the deductible, nor did my insurance rate go up. I guess I had a good policy or something
