Out of the Atlantic teams, Clemson does seem to be the best. I was really looking forward to a 3peat of putting the hurt on BC in the CG but oh well. WTF happened to the ACC this year? Granted we aren't the best conference in the country, but damn our teams usually do better than this. Outside of VT and Miami no ones really doing anything. But I can't be upset about UVA taking Duke's place as worst in the conference/country

When I first heard that Bowden was pretty much being forced out I thought it was because of the performance of the program the last few years. I didn't realize it was because of the, for lack of a better term, scandal(s) thats been going on w/ the players grades. I still don't know the whole story about it though. Just what my dad filled me in on. I will say that in the programs prime, I hated when we played you. Didn't matter how good we were that year or how "bad" you were you always beat us. Used to piss me off so bad. Whatever the outcome of the Bowden situation is hopefully you can get a coach and staff that will make the team competetive again. We need another tough team in the ACC

Yeah, I don't know...as much as I get tired of everyone riding the SEC's nuts, they do have some good programs. The ACC had a lot of GOOD ones, but nothing that'll be a NC contender. I, obviously, always root for my 'Noles, but outside of that, I root for the ACC, which I'm sure most ACC guys do. But you're right, the ACC is a joke now. I don't know what the deal is, but it looks like for the near future, it's up to you guys and Miami to represent the ACC.

I'm not sure how much of all this is because of the scandals. I would lean more towards the game just passing BB by. He's not changing with the times anymore. He can't stop the option, he can't stop the spread (which we'll be reminded of when Florida lays a hurt of biblical proportions on us in Nov)...true, that's Mickeys job to stop it as DC, but it's BB's job to ensure he does, and if he can't, find someone else. BB is loyal to friends and family, which has been obvious, which is good to an extent, but that loyalty is driving something he built into a pit of chaos. The players don't know who to listen to anymore, and there's physical scuffles between coaches. You can't have that. Everyone was calling for Jeff Bowden's head when we went 7-5....finally got rid of him, as well as cleaned house, bringing in Amato, Coley, Trickett and God knows who else and we're getting worse, that really only leaves one more person...

The Hokies look really good this year. They have my respect beings as im a nebraska fan. Its nice to see Tyrod throwing the ball a little bit this year. Seems like ever since the last minute of the VT-NU game he has been lights out.

You're right...

I didn't have to watch much of that game...

Y'all got throttled.

Yeah, I saw that over on scout.

Some people aren't sure the validity. That information is coming from the tutor that was fired, and is in-turn suing the school.

Can it be true? Sure. I don't doubt at all that schools hide/distort things to get good athletes, without caring about their academic knowledge. However, some officials say that they witnessed one of the students in question write a letter requesting reinstatement, after this chick said he couldn't read or write...

I would just take that article with a grain of salt, considering the source.

Anyways...

Dude, you guys are letting VIRGINIA lead the Coastal!?

Good Lord!

I didn't get to see the GA Tech game, but saw the result. What happened?

Wait wait wait, UVa is leading coastal now??? Fuck, someone give me a razor... not really. Its was rediculous man. We held them in the first half, then they made adjustments at halftime and we didn't. Typical VT shit. I stopped watching before the end of the 3rd quater. I knew what was going to happen

Yeah man, they're actually the only ones left that haven't lost a conference game.

I'm sure it will change though. They've only played 2 conference games.

It's just weird seeing someone 2-0 and 3-3 overall sitting above someone 6-1.

Didn't get to see too many games this weekend, as I was in TN with my family. I did get to watch my Noles though. Also saw the Florida, Clemson, LSU and ND.

Obviously being a Seminole fan, I don't like the gators. However, I can admit that they have a real good team, BUT...they should be sitting at 2 losses right now. The officiating in their last 2 games has been horrendous, and gave Florida wins that I don't think they would have had.

I guess we'll see how it plays out if it's them and Bama in the SECCG.
