Thanks for all the comments. The antenna will be staying. I love my 97.9 too much and it gets fuzzy with a short antenna.

I doubt it.Like I said, I have spent a boat load of cash on this bitch and I just want to enjoy driving it for a while. When I get ready to race, everything is there, but it might be a little while. I put a couple of grand in the rearend with all the 31 spline axles, tru-trac, new gears, BMR spherical uppers/lowers plus I have a built C4 (full manual reverse pattern) with an SFI approved modular bell housing, and all the dressings sitting on my workbench ready to go when the need for competition arises.

I need to get the windows blacked out, so nobody can see inside the car and hopefully everyone will just think it's just a GT with wheels and tint- that's what I was shootin' for anyway.

As long as you keep the antenna around 18" from the base there is no loss in reception

Yup. Or you can go with Sirius satellite radio, if you're so inclined. I have it, and love it, although to be fair, I do a shitpile of driving, and so it's easier for me to get more out of it.

Who are you trying to fool AC? I know you listen to 106.3 The Gull Oh, and your car is slow too!

Pretty nice job on the swap, why don't you sell me the car for the price of a GT after you work out the bugs, install the C4, and I'll throw on some slicks, a cage, and a 76mm turbo, 150 shot, and pretty much own the street.

you give up on the 'ol 2v AC? i fucked up big time. i spent 550 on blower cams, 200 on new valve springs, locks, retainers, etc.. and 600 getting my heads done. i could have bought some ported 4v heads for that price, probably with an intake, valve covers, and timing cover. my heads are gonna fuck me over.
