So I am back on my riding kick...there is a real nice lake to ride around right next to the base...I've rode it a few times so far with no problem, until today. I was about 4 miles into the ride, when my left foot slipped, and followed by a cling cling cling...startled and confused, I try to get my foot back on the petal with no luck...look down and see that the petal and arm fell off the bike lol...so I ended up with a nice 4 mile hike/coast back to the car...ah so fun.

wouldn't be too pissed about a chain breaking as you were actually beating on the bike...I was just riding on a flat road when it fell off lol

Happened to me the other day, was riding my dads cruiser bike and all the sudden the crank arm falls off. I manage to spin the bolt back on only to realize i did it wrong and the pedals are not opposite each other. No way to take it back of. It was a long walk.

Sorry but I gotta laugh! I take it your arm isn't keyed? That would be a damn challenge to ride the bike with the arms the same!

I remember being in high school. They just built a new Wal-Mart and some dumbass from one of my classes got a job there. He was telling us how he was putting the bikes together. I will never buy a preassembled anything every again lol.

Yeah, nothing sucks more than when the seat falls off and you get a big metal pole stabbed into your rectum repeatedly while riding over boulders.

Scratch that.

Yeah, nothing is better than when the seat falls off and you get a big metal pole stabbed into your rectum repeatedly while riding over boulders.

The store can build me bikes all day long : D

Happened on the trail the other day, my buddy's seat just fell right off. Pulled the seatpost out and rode it the 5 miles back outta the trail for him. Had to try really hard to remember not to sit down.

It was just a square so there were three way to do it wrong, the pedals were about 30 degrees apart. I looked rediculous riding it like that.
