got my springs in last friday (Eibach Pro kit)

next day went out to pick up these wheels... may only be 17" bullitts, but couldn't pass up the deal... $150 for the whole set




Mocked up next to the stang just to see... haha


now I got to choose tires... might just get some cheap Fuzion ZRi's
and got to decide if I'm going to get shocks/struts and CC plates still... if I do, I'm getting MM plates and probably Tokico HP series shocks/struts...

NOO! Do not get Fuzions. Every single time I have ever had a Fuzion on any of my Mustangs, current or old. They took a shit on me. They don't exactly like to seal properly, they crack in the sidewall easily, horrible traction. I hate them. save up for some eagle f1's.

I'm already spending too much with the idea of shocks/struts and cc plates...
what about Sumitomo tires? anyone have those?

I'm looking to spend less than $100 per tire... it's just a 6er for daily driving, not performance at all, lol

I have summitos on some other wheels I had on the GT...they were good tires. Never had an issue with them.

I have fuzion HRI'son the front and ZRI's on the back and the only problem i have is i hit a nail in the back right tire that i didnt know about. took it too a shop to get standard stuff done. they said they took out the nail and fixed the tire.....well they didnt. the assholes put fix a flat in the shit and not it shakes the car when i go over 60. other then that the tires have been great.

shit... I've been having the same thing... my car shakes after 60 mph... started after I went to discount tire when my tire got a screw in it... how do you check to see if they used that fix-a-flat shit?

It's nothing to brag about, and when I had them on the gt was when I had the 4.10s so shifting into 2nd i spun them, it was better than the fuzions which the car would go a little sideways.

lol, they're off a GT... guy was only asking 175... I offered 150 and he took it right away...

there's just a little oxidation on one wheel, but it's not bad... especially for that price...lol

definitely getting brand new wheels (18" black bullitts DD ) and better tires once I get a V8... so I'll keep those in mind

wheels are finally on! may be stock GT wheels, but made a hell of a difference from what I had...

wrapped in Nankang NS-1 radials.... wasn't too sure about them at first, but got a hell of a deal through a friend of mine ($325 mounted and balanced ) but they're surprisingly pretty good, handled well in turns and had good grip accelerating , nice and quiet, and tread looks good...

So now I am ordering Maximum Motorsports CC plates, and still a little undecided on shock and struts...

has anyone had Eibach Pro kit springs combined with Tokico HP shocks/struts?
Not sure if I'm wording the question right, since I'm a suspension n00b, but are the Tokico's rated for a 1.5" drop like that, or are they meant for stock springs?
