Gasoline Chemistry problem
My gf calls me and asks for my help in her Chemistry class. I dont really have the time to sit around and do the research to find any formulas or values needed (if any) and she said she doesnt have any values/formulas given. The question is:
The combustion of 1.0 gallons of gasoline releases 11 kcal of heat (density of gas is .74 g/ml). How many Megajoules are released when 2.0 gallons of gasoline is burned? Thanks guys for any help
