this is true...

no doubt Texas and Florida finally got back on track... now with Bama having an off week they get time to prepare really good for LSU... we will see if Bama stays one dimensional... they do have a great running attack, but they might need to throw the ball some against LSU...

Texas went through a little slump, but I think Colt found his rythem again so we'll see how next week goes against Central Florida. SHOULD be a cake walk.

BCS rankings have TX @ No.2 because of Bama's bye.
This tells me that Texas will not get screwed and passed up by a one loss team in the final BCS standings (ie a one loss Florida after the SEC game) If they are willing to put texas up after a simple bye, I am convinced that Texas will get back to number 2 if they win out. and screw half of those other undefeated teams that haven't played anyone.

if texas goes undefeated then they definately deserve to play in the title game... if texas, however, loses in the big12 championship then they should get passed over... I dont really know any other team to put in there with Florida or Bama... Florida, Bama, Texas are really the only teams thats are doing what they are suppose to... If USC would not have lost to oregon and won the pac 10 then I would have put a 1 loss USC against one of the undefeated sec teams (if and only if Texas LOSES in the BIG12 CHAMPIONSHIP GAME)

But think about what you're proposing there. Right now The best the Big 12 North has to offer is a 3-2conference/5-4overall team. Do you really think they have a shot against Texas in the Big 12 title game? Florida does not have a multi-dimensional offense, which is what they will need to overcome the Horns' Defense. Same goes for Alabama. The only way Alabama will defeat Texas is to absolutely shut them down defensively, and by that I mean no more than 3 points, because Texas can STILL score with their defense and special teams. I also don't see either Florida or Bama running successfully against Texas.

PSU won again, but they aren't going to go much farther in the rankings. They are about to get beat again one of these days if they can't be explosive right when the game starts.

Florida finally got things back on track by getting rid of the no huddle...

All Im saying is.. If Florida or Alabama go undefeated then the undefeated team goes to the NC... now if Texas loses in the big 12 championship game and Iowa wins out then Iowa should play either Florida or Bama... but if Texas loses during the regular season but wins the Big 12 champ game then I believe a 1 loss (non big 12 champ. game) Texas team should play the undefeated SEC team for the NC...

What is this anti-football Saturday? Some good stuff so far. Texas with a decisive win, Both Jordan Shipley and Colt McCoy had great days, and Texas was able to show off some power running as well..
AND IOWA LOST!!! Finally! That was the most fucking over-rated team in the nation! And you know It is entirely possible that Texas will be No. 1 at the end of all this.
Here's the scenario:
LSU beats BAMA
BAMA beats Florida in SEC title game
That puts TX at No. 1 in the final rankings and opens up the second BCS title game slot to a lot more speculation.
Texas would be unquestioned No. 1, but then you have a few unbeatens (possibly) with respectable wins under their belts, and you ALSO have several once-beatens (Bama, LSU, Florida, Oregon) who can make a case for the title.

God I love College football.
