Just because you work at fast food does NOT mean your retarded. People think fast food is the easiest job in the world. I work at a pizza place. It's never really hard, but every now and then we'll have a busy night. But when some whiney, self intitled fuck-of-a-person is unhappy or bitching about having to wait 5 mins or not get what they want because their ass is to fucking poor to pay an extra 1$ for the 3 extra toppings they want, they can all just suck my cock. I hate these type of people. A job is a job. You have bad days and good days. So don't be an ass to someone at their job just because they have a small hiccup or your not happy with their service. If you don't like it, then fuck off. I'm not here to bend over backwards for you just to get you a few extra dollars saved. Order your fuckin food and get out of my face.

As much of a rant this is, I also wanna hear your stories if you've had to deal with this shit. Its a fuckin job. So give me some respect. Not your complaints. And if its not fast food who cares, lemme know anyways.

That goes with any job that involves dealing with the general public. Food service, retail, sales, etc. Just when you think you've seen 'em all.. another asshole walks in the door.

Well the fast food industry is the hardest work for the lowest pay. If you are 35 or older, then you may be retarded if you still work fast food. If you are a kid, then its a great way to get into the food industry. I washed dishes and bussed tables when i was a kid. Any food service job is hard work, no doubt about it. I would just blow off the idiot customers and give them even worse service if they pissed me off. You might want to look into another line of work if you get this worked up over idiot customers.

I worked in Food service as a teen, I worked at Hot dog on a stick, a place called "Fosters Freeze" (A burger and shake place) and also a movie theater.. . People are fucking angry and picky as hell all the fucking time.

I once had a guy bring back an order of fries because one of the fries was burnt, he made me remove the burnt fry, and he went on his way.. seriously? wtf.

i worked at arby's for a couple of months when i was 16. i was always real polite and friendly and quick on my feet and shit so i rarely got people bitching. i got way more compliments than complaints. one guy guy though. this one guy. oh man. his mind couldn't grasp the fact that when you enter a combo into the computer, each individual item shows up. he wanted to get a milkshake instead of a drink but he was arguing with me saying it charged him an extra $1.50 when it only charged him an extra 50 cents. he was in my face yelling and shit.

it worked out perfectly though. he happened to be allergic to onions (he ordered a sandwich and told me to hold the onions. guess what? i didn't hold the onions.) and my shift was almost over. he got onions on his sandwich and i went home. i did hear about it the next day though. lol

and one time i was working at the drive thru (for some reason, at the arby's i worked at, the people ordering at the drive thru could be heard over all the loudspeakers behind the counter. probably so everybody could start making their food as they ordered) and this lady had this long ass confusing order. i repeated it back to her and she goes "YES! YOU'RE FUCKING COOL AS SHIT DUDE! YOU'RE FUCKING COOL AS SHIT!"

all the people working there and the customers standing at the counter had the funniest looks on their faces

It doesn't happen that much. And its just cuz the town I live in is below the poverty line mostly. Some fat ugly bitch in a wife beater thats all yellow-y from not being washed enough who comes in with five kids who are all racially variated come in the door, rude as hell before I even fuck anything up, and then make rude comments to my face, just because they dont understand that on Monday Night special, "a large one topping for 6.99", cant be switched to a supreme because its not one topping, or can't be ordered because its NOT FUCKING MONDAY YOU INBRED FUCK, most likely all this incomprehension stems from their lack of completing atleast 4 grades of school, and then they treat me like I'm wrong because I have to explain, I don't enjoy it. These are the type of customers we have daily. It doesn't bother me hardly ever, just a shitty week, and had to work 9am to 10 pm yesterday with some bitchy customers didn't help me.

Besides this, my only complaint is people who blame you for creating the rules about you work. I don't make them, my boss does. Whys that hard to grasp?

I dont mind a customer who's specific. Or particular. But when their an asshole about it, it bothers me. I try to be as polite and friendly as possible. But when that customer thinks out loud or acts on their thoughts, such as "that little ass behind the counter", if they WALK UP to me with that attitude for no reason, I'll be a douchebag right back to them. Give out what you want in return.

ive been working in retail for a few years. the absolute worst thing in my opinion even worse than bitching is when parents come in where there little kids and let them do whatever they damn well please. ive had kids knock entire rows of games off the shelf at gamestop where i work now and the parent right next to them just look over and walk away EVEN THOUGH ITS THEIR DAMN KID THAT DID THE DAMAGE IN THE FIRST PLACE!!!! makes me wanna flying dragon kick them in the face!!!(the parents that is)
