I went to a FORD dealership . i wanted to test drive a Standard V6 but they didnt have a v6 or a gt standard so they let me mess around in the shelby . i turned on the engine and i revv'd it to 2300 RPM and she was like if your gonna revv it that low buy a nice camry lol . then she said revv it higher so i revvid it like 6k RPM. and it just roared lol then we started talking about paper work she said 5g'z down?!? you cant do anything with that . so its 7g'z down and about 1monthly payment and 4000-5000 for insurance every 6months im wondering if i should trade it in .. after i drove him my mustang felt like it had no power and i was like weak .. and my mustang started making some noise lol . well i could buy it if i asked my mom but then its also 15MPG and insurance is murder . so i guess would it be worth it?

That car has a 4v v8 with a supercharger, Gas shouldn't be that bad, and also the markup on them is horrible. I would say get yourself a used Cobra.

Take the advice above, buy a used Cobra, build your own V6. Ford and Shelby are putting it to you.

You are just buying a name...save your money and build a mustang that will sh...t all over the new Cobra of the 500 GT. In the 1970s you really did get the bang for the buck, not this new breed. Ford's price points and options have missed the market...that is why they are going Bankrupt. If you crawl around under and over the new GTS or Corba, they would only be worth about $9,500...if that. Then they put a 3 or 4 times markup on that cost and there you go, the new price point.

Buy the least costly mustang and build one you will be proud to own.

i already thought about that used car = fixing parts that are breaking apart + terminators are hard to find . and shelby has a nicer interior . i dont know i just know that the shelby is so nice

are u outa ur damn mind ? the new interior sucks cock....Terminators are not that hard to find....shit as many mystics that were made which isnt much theres 5 around here.....plus they will walk on a new shelby with 5,000 into it....and still will be on 26k....hello 10s ?

you guys are nuts, the 05+ interior looks awesome, we have an 05 standard v6, it's "screaming yellow" with black leather interior. it's very nice. and a 03 cobra isn't gonna walk on a new shelby gt 500. they come 450-500 hp off lot.

Thats to the crank, and also they are a lot heavier than the terminators. Also the terminators were underrated power wise, and are also lighter.

first off i dont see why a saleperson would take you from a v6 to a shelby if you came in asking for a v6. and obviously your young, hence the name and the permission you have to get from your mom. dealerships arent going to let someone drive an expensive car, if they think you cant pay for it, not to mention your age....

if you cant get a terminator get a 99-01 cobra. semi-cheap and poweful.

i got to test drive a 5-spd 5.0 1986 gt about a month ago. the guy i was test drivin it with had me stop so he could put gas in it. and on the way out of the gas station, while i was waiting to pull out, he was like "ok look, you and i both know you wanna get on it, so go ahead and do it and get out outta your system", so i was like friggin right, and i pulled out, and when i got in to 2nd gear i punched it, and it turned sideways like this / it scared the crap outta me and first so i straightened it back out and then i was like... THAT WAS AWEEESOMEEE! lol
i was gonna get it but didn't since those models are ugly, and that 5.0 only has 40 more hp than my 3.8 now... and the dash didn't work... like the speedo and such. but it ws fun

05+interior does suck, shelbys arent what they used to be, every time they think of one, they think of gone in 60 seconds, they arent made like that anymore
