Anyone have any expierence with power mats?

Powermat - Home and Office Charging Mat - Black - PMM-HO100

Was thinkng this would be nice as I could just use it to charge everything rather than having all my stuff charging at different outlets all through the house. Anyone use one or know anyone that is?

I was looking at them today. They got OK reviews, nothing amazing.

They say they are large, like you would have a hard time with them in the car to charge on the go.

I dont see why....

Well Im looking at one for my home, as I have so much crap I have to charge that I cant charge everything in one room as I dont have enough outlets. This way, I can charge three things at a time and not have to figure out where the charge cable is from the last time I charged it.

Only thing that sucks is that you have to buy adapters for everything as well and they are $40/each.

Its a good idea, but I wish it was just like a cushion mat that used static or small electrical pulses to charge the battery, whatever it is. Just dropp w/e including lets say....a flashlight, a phone, and a vibrator on it and come back later to it charged.

I don't like that you spend $100 on it and can't even use it til yo buy a dang $40 case for your phone. then if the significant other has a different phone thats another $40. Thats nearly $200 to charge my phone. My Iphone charges pretty fast so I think I'm good with the usb charger and car adapter

meh, I had one for almost 2 years before my iPhone... Decent phone but nothing to write home about.

I love my blackberry, for someone like myself who does a lot of travelling it's great. So far 09 has been a year for me to stay home, but 2008 I flew over 20 times.
