I personally wouldnt get it, its to much talk him down to 1500 if you really want it.

But Id rather have the Inline6 just me though

I know what the 6 can do not sure about the V8 heated seats are nice though

I wouldnt pay 1900 for it regardless

edit the way I always looked at it was that with the grand Cherokees alot more can break vs the Cherokees (most cherokees have alot of manual stuff)

255km on a 318 V8, IDK Zip that is a lot of miles for a 318.

not bad if you can talk him down some. Wouldn't scare me on the miles if you ran well. cheap to rebuild a 318 if needed down the road

very true. but 1200-1500 for a v8 4x4 jeep isn't bad. I would be on the fence with it.

Thats the only body style I do not like. We have a '92 Laraedo with the staight 6, 200k miles, and running nicely...the visibility in incredible in that car... a 2000, and 2005 grand cherokee with v8's and they are great cars... the '05's seats are really uncomfortable though.

We got the '92 for really cheap; I didn't buy it, so I'm not sure exactly.

I think a grand cherokee will give you more of the creature comforts you would apreciate ( as I mentioned in your last jeep thread ). I agree with those above that you would be better off with the 4.0 ( I6 ) than the 5.2 (V8).

he is asking KBB Excellent condition on trade in value. I use KBB as a guide. It's pretty good. Take a look at it and make a decision. Depends on what you want.

I would be worried about the transmission. That is just what I have seen with Jeep/Dodge/Chrysler deal

158450 miles, I bet you get to 180,000 before you see problems with the engine.

Jake, remember that 255k is only 158,000 miles. And I only have 1900 to spend. So that limits my choices.
