I'm stumped... Wanna help?
Ok, my buddy has this 02 alero. Windows don't work, lighter doesn't work, power mirrors don't work, turn signals don't work. But the sunroof and dash and dome lights do. I checked all the fuses and their good but no power is getting to the window switches or power mirror switch. WTF?
I will paypal someone $10 if they can figure this out.

Those things all sound like items that only work with the ignition on, with the possible exception being the lighter...
The dome and dash lights should work with the ignition off, but the sunroof has me stumped, unless it is on a different circuit. Maybe a relay somewhere that is supposed to activate those items when you turn on the ignition is stuck.. Check fuseable links (if it has them).. wires that go directly to the battery and are always powered. Talk to him... did he plug something big into the lighter that might have drawn too many amps to blow a fuse or something? Has he messed with the electrical system recently, like a new radio or amp or something?

There are multiple fuses for these things. There are two that can shut off the alarm, windows and every power option door related, then there is one just for power locks and alarm. etc.
I'd say get a book that shows the required fuses because it may be missing all together. second there may be a short in some wiring to one of these things. Third, most of them have relays as well as fuses. If the relay is out, so is everything else, regardless of the fuse.

Car is 100% stock. Not even an aftermarket radio. I have already checked the fuses agianst the book and they are all there and good. This one definitally has me baffled.

um it said so in the manual that if i have a blinking engine service soon light on it stated im having an engine misfire and it could cause a fire. i checked under the hood i could see a round burnt circle on the fire mat under the hood right above where the chewed up wires were...

I believe that car has a body control module(could be wrong) backprobe the module connector to see if you have power going in and power command signals coming out. Insure all grounds are good as well. Battery power to module, good grounds, no output usually = bad module... that is if it has one.. hopefully this helps
EDIT: make sure to use a wiring diagram!
