I've had a DPMS for about 9 months and haven't had any problems at all.
Regular cleaning has kept it problem free.

White, why do you say dpms's are junk? Do you own one?

there has been alot of issue's with the dpms parts kits they put into their receivers. Plus the gas key staking on them has been up in the air also. I've got over 700 rounds thru my Bushy right now and still haven't cleaned it, just keep going to the range, drop a couple of drops of lube on the bolt and continue on. But there has been some QA control problems with the ar15 side of DPMS. They are doing better but still not a top tier rifle.

My dpms Ar has been problem free since I got it. 20 for 20 on a sillouette at 100yds with a 16" barrel while standing free hand, continuous quick shooting(don't have any longer distance, and have never done any bench rest grouping tests). Looked at armalite, rra, colt, s&w, bushmaster, stagarms before I made my purchase.

My dad got a s&w M&p 15, which is pretty sweet. Colt is just pointlessle expensive. I like armalites a lot. A friend of mine as one. Bushmasters aren't really anything special. Don't get an RRA. Stag I don't know a lot about, except that I didn't like how it felt when I shouldered it.

and my thing with DPMS isn't just oh i read they are junk, I have monthly get togethers with guys who have been shooting AR15's for a very long time and actually hold build events teaching people how to build great functioning ARs. 2 of them either owned 1 or used the lower parts kit in a receiver and the trigger stopped functioning. I will edit my post to say they are not junk, for a range shooter they will work. But when posting up links to rifles it would be one of the last i would post up.

im not a dumb ass i was looking at mp5's that are pritty accurate at short ranges hmmmm maybe because that is what they are used for. so ya thanks @$$ i knew what i was doing beside i was messing around with tiller about having an mp5 with him when the zomies attack as a joke.

yes its a good lower, really you don't need to spend more than 120 bucks on a stripped lower. You can also buy your lower parts kit (rra,cmmg) and send your trigger off to bill springfield and for 30 bucks he can work it over to 4lbs and have a nice crisp break to it that almost feels like a 200 dollar timney trigger.

Ok I understand the the 4lb trigger part (im still reading so bare with me LOL) the lower parts kit?

Also do I send the whole trigger assembly or just the trigger?
