don't apologize but all this speculating isn't getting us anywhere plus you said now it will be 2 months at least before you get it and you don't even know if that rifle will be in stock in 2 months, the place could be filled with colts and bushy's then you never know. dude for a full built rifle, your pretty much good with anything except olympic, del-ton, rra, everything else just go ahead and buy as long as it has the options you want. nothing more can really be said about it

I'd go with rock river arms ive dealt with colt and F&N (Army)both are good but way over priced i built a rock river arms AR (16") and a recent spikes tactical ar(20") rock river is inexpensive and never had a problem out of 2000 rounds and counting the spikes was cheap also but id go with a cmmg bolt and carrier and get the one thats particle tested if you go spikes good price plenty of options to choose from you cant go wrong in my opnion

ugh dude why did you buy one with the optic riser on it that can't be removed. You are going to find that most optics won't work on it and it will be hard to keep a cheak weld and view say thru a red dot sight. I guess thats what you wanted but i think you would of been happier with a true flat top upper

This deff WONT be the first one January I plan to buy my first lower and start to do my build like I originally planned
