Has anyone heard anything about unemployment news?

I have heard they are going to extend it and mo is 9.5% with my county being above 10%. It runs out in a month. I have heard it has to pass the senate but how quickly will it get to us? I am right in the thick of when most people got laid off.

Construction was not hiring in the summer, they damn sure are not going to hire in the winter. We had a big hail storm come through so roofers were hiring for a while but they are going to start laying off again for the winter soon.

I have a couple buddies who got laid off and couldnt find work for 6 months ( and they were out for 5-6 hours everyday trying to get a job ). They ended up having to get a job that was about an hour away. But I guess you gotta do what you gotta do...

I know they are not raising it. I just keep hearing about it passing the house and the senate had to vote on it but that was back in late September. The percentages I was talking about was the unemployment rate is at 9.5 and 10.

The weird thing is, I just applied to home depot at their website and then I went to Missouri career centers site and search buy zip code and its saying home depot is hiring. So I applied again. Still no word so far.

An hour away is insane lol on one tank of gas I would go to work, come back and back to work then fill the tank before I went back home. = $300 a month in gas

I use a tank of gas every 4 days between work and school...its about to get alot better when i move.
