MM's Resident Ginger
|
H1n1
I'm like 99.100% sure that the fiance' has it...Tuesday night at about 9pm he said his throat had felt scratchy. By 11pm it was an extremely sore throat...he woke up yesterday not feeling well...and when I got home last night he was laid out on the couch running back and forth to the bathroom, sneezing, coughing, blowing his nose, not feeling well at all...eff...
He keeps saying he doesn't need to go to the doc...i'll kick him in his face and make him!

^ already had it he doesnt have to go to the doc so relax...
IF IF he starts to throw up a lot and run a HIGH fever then he NEEDS to go to the doc. But untill then just drink lots of fluids and rest promise it will be ok! The swine flu H1N1 is over-rated. |

Yeah I had to go to school with it, its no fun LOL at all... Just make sure he is drinking A LOT!!! best is water but im sure you know that ![]() bathroom for what vomiting or #2? Really weird questions but is his #2 runny or solid? If its not runny it might not be H1N1 if it is then Id say a good guess it is H1N1.. If he is throwing up/dry heaving every half hour or more or heck every hour for more then a day I would take him to the doc. |

on the contrary H1N1 does effect everyone differently those are some of the symptoms granted not all. You are right though it could possibly be something else.

I know that feeling I wanted to end myself lol
Long as his fever isnt through the roof then he should be ok just make sure he's drinking a lot of water or something. If his fever goes up or he starts to vomit a lot take him to the hospital (I was told all this by my doctor who I called and told him what I was going through and what I told you is what he told me) |

If he has H1N1 then he does NOT need to go to the doctor. It's a VIRUS and they can't do anything about it. All the doctor will do is give him medicin that will treat the symptoms and make him FEEL better. His body will still be fighting the virus, but he'll feel good. When he feels good he'll be doing more stuff when he should be resting. Doing more stuff will actually increase the recovery time. The body needs him to rest so it can spend it's energy fighting the virus.
If you honestly think it's H1N1 then he doesn't need to go to the doctors. Besides, they don't even test here unless specifically asked. It takes a week to get the results and most people are over it by the time the results come in.

I just know you gotta be careful...esp in this dry state. We just had some guy from the base die from it...he went to sleep on saturday nite with a slight fever and when his wife woke up next to him the next morning he was gone.

going to a doctor will do nothing for a virus, if you go within the first 2 days they will prescribe you tamiflu, and that doesnt even stop it, just helps your body try and fight it. Tylenol for the fever and just try and drink a shit ton of fluids, hes gona have to wait it out

I just went to the doctor because I had flu symptoms and I was kinda paranoid with the swine flu going around. My symptoms arent as bad as your Mans Burning but the doctor told me the exact same thing everyone else is saying. You have to catch it with in the first 72 hours for the flu medicine to work or else you just have to wait it out. Hope he feels better Burning!
