I agree with you it is a stereotype but its also usually true most of the time they are ungreatful. You may be an exeption but i never grew up rich im 17 still no car have to buy all the nice things myself. most of the time for christmas i got cloths and small cheap electronics. But if i realy want it i will work for it. My semi nice electronics Xbox 360 elite and sony vaio add up to be about 1500 dollars worth of stuff bought on my own. cloths are now that i have a job, are bought by me. I'm fine with this tho i love my mom and just because she isnt rich doesnt mean anything. I'm not going to say i hate rich people because i dont I have rich spoiled friends i just dont think an audi is a smart first car.

I didnt read this whole thread but who cares what car someone else has, or why the parent bought the kid a nice car. My dad will be the first to tell you that I always had nicer and newer cars than him, because thats what he wanted. He didnt care to him a car is a car. I am 33 years old and have worked hard my whole life to get where I am at, but just because someones parents want the best for them and want them to have nice things doesnt mean shit about the person or his parents. I know when I have kids I will help my kid get the car he wants. If the kid is brought up right and tought responsibility and learns early about cars and driving than you dont have to worry. I had a LOT of fast cars including a few mustangs and corvettes and never had a wreck other than a couple of low speed fender benders....Concentrate on what you have and being happy with yourself instead of hating on others ... There parents worked hard to be able to do those things for them so why hate on it...

And you must be very young 1. because of the jealousy thread and 2. when I was young I thought I would keep my first cool car forever....my bet is you dont have that car over 5 years if that...ask any older member here if they still have their first cool car...
