today after school some kids in a mini s the racing one i guess .... were trying me n shit n im like oh i can proably take that lil piece of crap ... so were at a light n were both ready to go and bam that thing takes off like a fuckin vette man those things can be quik at first i was dissapointed my car has only full exhaust n cai ...anyone know the specs on those things ...did he get lucky or are those things torque monsters

i like the mini cooperS.. supercharged tiny car...fast & can handle like a motherfucker! a lot of people don't expect much out of them & they are often unpleasantly suprised..

my best friend used to have a cooper s. they are some quick little cars. we were in a parking lot once, we met up to eat dinner or something. as we were walking to our cars, we noticed a group of import guys hanging around their cars, whatever. he peeled out in his mini and as i stood and watched, they all turned and yelled HOLY SHIT!. this was a few years before i got my stang, so i felt kinda left out tho.

lol The best thing about the mini cooper is if you can't find a parking space you and just pull it into the back of your friends pickup :wink.

If they ever release a Mini equipped with a diesel engine and a manual tranny here in the States, I'd immediately go buy one for my daily driver. I'd take one running on gasoline, but for a car that weighs half a ton you'd think it'd get better than 25mpg. My neighbor has on 03 Cooper S and it's quick but not fast... if that makes sense. Good off the line, bad top end, like any four banger (most cases anyways).

this also bring to my mind. I always thought about Turbocharging my Jeep. shit it only weights 300lbs more then my mustang... 3675lbs for the jeep IIRC could be a bad ass sleeper... 4.0L Straight six... sssssssssss psh....

awd for the handling side of performance.. mini's aren't really known for their straight-line capabilities, lol. Fact is I don't even know what their drivetrain is... FWD maybe? Hell if I know.

u think with gears tlok cai true duel and pullies i can take one ?? this last one beat me by like 2-3 cars(like 6 minis) off a 25mph roll he whored me

.... i just slowed down n u-turn i didnt think those things would actually give me a race...
