i quit

so yeah, in a bad economy with higher unemployment, i quit my job. No back up job, no back up plan. Im a lil nervous hahaha.
I just got so fed up with my job. My boss decided to be a dick on the wrong day, so i gave him my two weeks. He was shocked

Ive got about 3500, and my bills are pretty low. so i have enough money to sustain me for at least a few months if it takes me a while to find a job.

Any thoughts or advice? Preferably encouraging, because its done, i cant take it back. I know it wasnt a smart move

honestly waking up late and sleeping whenever i want is awesome as hell and im enjoying the hell out of it. but i do miss having a job i may go back to work in 2 weeks or so but imma live it up for now..

Good luck to ya man, atleast you have some money in savings to get you by for a little bit...just make sure you quit for the right reasons, and then just move on with life...theres always a job out there somewhere.

I've tried quitting several times and even given my two week notice....then the boss reminds me about that silly little military contract and AWOL....lol

i was everything. i handled inventory, had to travel across the US to do repairs on our equipment, and i build machines basically.
we had a production staff of 4 people, then everyone quit but me. Its just been a huge strain.

theres always a job out there somewhere.

exactly. im seriously thinkin about movin. Myrtle Beach is a totally service oriented town, so jobs are hard to come by in this area. damn russians keep takin all the jobs!

and yeah youngin, i get social security (more money than my last 2 jobs combined) but i hate not working. it's fun being lazy and having an open schedule and all, but i'd rather have a job... as crazy as that sounds lol

hell no i aint goin back. the company i work at is doin some shady stuff i dont want to be involved in. and they use real dirty tricks, the kind of tricks you see in china and hong kong.

get this. My VICE PRESIDENT was talkin to some business partners from france. our machines make an anti bacterial solution. So she was tryin to give a french name. So she called it MURDER WATER. She then proceeds to try to say it in french and said "Merde de l'eau" WHICH MEANS SHIT WATER.
