It's been my experience that it takes years of theory to become adept at practical

I just don't get what you mean by adept at practical. I'm thinking, "practical about what?"

LOL

Practical has more than one definition.

Its funny now that Im mid thirties how much I wish I new someone a bit older than me when I was younger. Sure, I had people around that were in their 50's like my Dad and stuff but for certain things, there was just too much generation gap. I could have really benefited from someone that was a little more in tune with my generation but maybe had a few more life experiences to learn from. So I try to embrace that here when I can and offer an honest look at stuff. One of the best things about MM is that you can take and give great ideas and advice without any pressure. It really is hard to thank everyone that has contributed in my life because I get something from everything I read. Even if what I get is a sense of "damn that guys a dumbass". Sometimes you learn what NOT to do! LOL!

I have said it once and I'll say it again,, MM saved me THOUSANDS of dollars with my Mustang (and other cars for that matter) over the years. I have the confidence to do things myself with cars I never would have before. And I know if I get stuck, all I have to do is call one of you guys or make a quick thread.

I can remember when I first came to MM. I had a problem with my Mustang and wanted to try and fix it myself. Juggs told me to get a web camera and put it out by the car while I attempted fixing it so he could he could have a better shot at assisting me. I was floored because I hadnt even been a member for a few weeks and here this guy was going to walk me through a job.

The list of members is really long. I have truley gotten something from everyone. One specific person that sticks out though is Chris....that mother fucker has been like some strange gardian angel sent to keep me from the brink of insanity.

I try real hard to be as generous as possible here with everything as a way to give back.
