ok check this out we was in our convoy going through Khowst and I saw this sign that made me think who the fuck would come and visit afghanistan i mean come on. I see it now a family vacation to hell

for all you not in the military or have never deployed now you can see why they call it man love thursday. and all you can say to two guys on a motorcycle together is WOW WTF over

back in the east like pakistan/afghanistan/iraq, they don't consider two men on a motorcycle gay. It's just another way of transportation. They don't think like that

Yeah you see whole families on motorcycles here, No joke the other day I passed on the highway a scooter with a man driving, he had a kid standing in front of him about 5-6, a daughter behind about 3, the mom, and she had a baby in her arm. They passed right by the police with NO problems, only because the driver had his helmet on. Thats right we have a helmet law, seatbelt law, and no cell phone law, but you can have a family of 5 on a scooter.....

well hopefully they realized the tires they did have were shit!!!!

we blew through tires in iraq, convoys daily in that extreme heat on the road will wear tires out fast

the sf guys had super swampers on there humvees

a local atv riding spot is that way with the mexicans, 3-4 on a atv riding around.....its crazy and very unsafe

Nothing is more uncomfortable thought then seeing two guys watching a movie with one laying his head in his lap and getting his hair rubbed. WTF? That is a normal thing over there. Saw crap like that all the time.

Dude, that shit freaked me out. My cousin is married now, but a few weeks before i was at his house and his friends were over. He was laying on his bed with his head on his friends stomach, his friend was also laying down. And him and his other friends were carrying a perfectly normal conversation. I was like

I guess he still has some FOB attributes in him.

OK, in order to gain the trust of some of the folks I had detained, and to get intel from them I would walk holding hands with them. It was weird, but I was able to get some very good intel from them.
