Getting my windows tinted today

I was going to go with 15% because I have that on my other mustang and I think it looks good.

But what would you think if I went 10%? Im not going above 15 thats what I want and I sure as hell am not getting 5 or some shit so you can even see at night.

Im stuck between 10 and 15 heres a pic of my car.

Ill post pics later of it I cant get on photobucket ill do it at lunch.

But for now its a White 03 GT with grille delete and chin spoiler with cobra r's so its not like it looks that different

Help an old dude out; I can't remember how the percentage scale works. Which one is darker

lower % is darker. I would do five on the back window and do 10 on the side and quarter windows.

I dont know what your state laws are for tint, but this is what I always do...

In that case I would go with whatever is legal in your state.

But on a serious note. To my knowledge, the only window a cop can check the tint on is you drivers and passenger windows as he has to slide a little thingy over the edge of the glass to read what the tint is.

But I always do my back window 5% less than I do the front windows.

Yea back should always be 5% "Limo"

I did 25% because its legal on my fronts and I wish I went darker.

10% is where its at if you dont want limo on the sides.

huh? I have never had anything lighter than 15 and never had problems seeing ( even during a storm at night ).

I have small issues backing into my non-lit driveway. Thats the only problem I have. I just roll down the windows.

Legal is like 25% but everyone and their brother has limo tint on their cars in florida. Ive never seen someone get in trouble for it.

I dont know if I wanna go 5 on the back because its a bitch to back up at night with that on there. I think I may go 15 on sides and 10 in back

do 5 or 2 1/2% on the back and quarter windows and 25 on the side to be legal or what ever is legal in ur state ,even if you did 35 on the side it will still look black because they is no light coming in from the back

I wouldnt do 5 and 25, it wont blend evenly. My rule of thumb is not to go more than 5% away.
