some ass in a cummings floored it next to my car after a turn when i had my windows down. luckily the fucker's car didn't produce any black smoke, but all i could here was sound. It was so loud.

It makes me want to buy a tuner for my dad's 7.3L turbo powerstroke cargo van. I can't wait till he retires and gives me that thing.

Ok so it looks like I'm not the only one. Its wierd though because none of the other hybrids seem to do this its just the prius owners. I think they realize their car may be economical but it looks like a bag of smashed ass, and not just any smashed ass I'm talkin jenny craig double whopper meal with a diet coke gets winded in the drive thru kinda smashed ass!!

And they rice them around because they come from the factory riced out! altezza tails and shit! What's wrong with the camry hybrid or the civic hybrid?? oh ya its not what the media says to buy.

I was watching top gear and they were talking about all the celebrities buying prius' and parking them next to their bentley continentals and other gas guzzling, gross poluting respectable cars.

All I know is I hope to god that oil doesnt run out in my lifetime cause I really don't want to have to ride my motorcycle in the snow!!

Mine blows a decent amout of smoke, but nothing super radical (YET)
I've thought about that before. I wish there was a special compartment in the exhaust where you could store the smoke (I realize this isn't practical but I can dream). Then when you're going buy a tree hugger, push a button and dump it all out the exhaust.

Simple, if you are driving a Camry or Civic Hybrid, people might not realize it is a Hybrid. But with the Prius they can rub their self serving "superiority" in everyone's faces.

I love diesels. I'm actually <gasp> considering axing the Bronco and getting a Jetta SportWagen TDi with the turbo 2.0L. I've seen VW diesels with a few parts and a good tune push over 400 ft-lb at the tires

I definitely think there are douchebag diesel owners, but the majority of them are just the same idiots that have always bought the biggest truck they could. We used to call those "Penis trucks" in reference to the fact the owner MUST have been compensating for something. I mean, they obviously weren't work trucks, as they were lifted and spotless - work trucks are always stock ride height, dirty as hell, and have a fuel tank in the back for refilling tractors or logging equipment.

I think the Prius owners get caught speeding cause they are afraid to slow down. (If they slow down or stop it takes a half hour to resume!) You also see them accelerate when they approach a hill.

You've heard there is no replacement for displacement? Well if you have less liters in your engine than a bottle of Pepsi, you can stick a fork in the torque. It's all about momentum baby!

Do a powerstroke swap into the bronco... I will one day have a 92-96 7.3 powerstroke bronco on 1 ton axles...

the only torque replacement for displacement is electric motors. which they have. if you have ever driven a hybrid they are quite peppy from a dig. I'd venture to say that the lexus SUV hybrid my uncle has would take me from 0-30.

The Pruis I drove, had a throttle delay, where you press the throttle, and about two seconds later it would actually move... Sucked pulling out into traffic like that... glad I only had to drive that car ONCE, and hopefully will be the only time I ever have to drive a gay-mobile

I've been in a pretty fast electric golf cart. zoooommm!

Sorry, I can't afford a Lexus Hybrid SUV.
(Cheaper to call Roush and convert my Ford to propane if fuel costs get that bad.
p.s. MG would rather have 106 octane than a battery )

Ya but I bet you riced the fuck out of it! lol!

And the 2 second delay is so the prius can look around and make sure everyone notices it's saving the environment.

And I'm sorry everyone but I love diesel's! while they run on the wrong fuel they seem to be the only vehicles on the road that don't require $10k in mods to break 12's. Plus diesels with auto tranny's are the most consistent vehicles ever created. if you run a 12.3 you run a 12.3 everytime!

So I just saw something that has to be pretty rare! I was driving around trying to see if my SES light would come back on. well I stopped in a parking lot to smoke a cigarette (don't smoke in the car for atleast a couple months into owning it! lol) and I hear "skeeeerch!" and I look and I see a prius that was looking for a parking spot crashed into another car. GUESS what the other car was!!! A fucking prius!!! I mean they weren't speeding or anything but still how often do two of any kind of car crash into each other??
Oh and when they got out they looked as if they were like "oh you got a prius too? well lets make this as painless as possible." like a brotherhood of douchebags understanding. I couldn't hear them but I imagined them talking about how much better they still were than everyone even though they just crashed into eachother.

With a name such as 'Prius,' can you blame them for being homosexual? If our cars were named 'Prius,' would we still love them?

well for those that see a "prius guy" remember that the definition of prius is previous or former. so all prius guys are by definition "former guys" now... they are katooeys. (lady boys)
