we dont know that the droid is worth a shit yet. give it a few weeks to come out and have people actually use it.

I would buy the droid a few months to a year after it comes out. Also Motorola hasn't made a good phone in years. I expect it to break a whole fucking lot like all of their other phones do.

Troof. I'll never get another Motorola phone after me and the missus went through 6 in one year...buggy firmware that constantly needs reflashed was the problem with most of them, and it was never resolved.

I have the LG NV2 and it has been great, other than having to buy the $25 case to keep it from butt-dialing....

LG and RIM are both known for making solid phones. Motoroloa used to...back when they made the Startac. I got so fucking sick of fixing motorolas when I was a tech at Verizon. Everyday of my life there I had at least one come through. Sometimes it would be the same person multiple times in a day.

i am only saying the droid cause I love the google OS that it has... other wise the HTC TP2 is bad ass!

what really impresses me is the free turn by turn voice navigation that is supposed to be the shit on the droid. they play up a lot of features, it will be interesting to see the realistic feedback after its out for a couple weeks

Everytime HTC comes out with some great phone...it takes a shit on everyone. Last good phone that Motorola made was the Razr...and that is a huge piece of shit now. The ones they make now still cant do shit right.

Please God stay away from the HTC touch pro 2 and any windows mobile phone for that matter.... The original storm was a piece of crap, no idea how the second one is suppose to turn out.

Go for the android unit.

the storm was a pos until they released the 5.0 os. Which makes it a lot better. Yes, has issues with memory leak on some, and the touch could be better, but it is still a good solid phone.

I had windows mobile phones. POS's cant fucking do shit with them, and they want to fight you every step of the way if you have to do anything with them, and again fuck motorola. They had to come out with this phone because they aren't doing too well in sales.

ok so windows sucks. i want to try the google os. it seems bad ass to me. and i won't get it for a couple months so hopefully all the bugs on the droid is fixed by then.

I use my phone for everything. internet, email, apps, maps, weather. i looked at the iphone vs droid video on youtube and they are basically the same. i love how the droid has a keyboard too.

The same specs wise, but motorolla hasn't made a good phone in years. You have to keep that in mind. I speak through experience on the technical side. You name it from motorola as of new phones, and I fixed at least one every day when I was tech at Verizon.

back up your claim on WinMo punk. its not nice to talk trash about something with out saying why.

I've been running 6.5 on my TP with out a problem for 3 onths now. I honestly don't see a single issue in winmo except for the fact that it has no support application wise from Microsoft.

The Droid and the iPhone may look the same on paper, but they are not.

The iPhone has proven to be a rock solid phone in every category. It functions flawlessly, there are virtually no bugs in the OS, it is an extremely capable phone, the touch screen is excellent, it is really durable, and the app support will always be better than any other phone simply because of the sheer number of iphones sold.

They don't sell so many for no reason.

I have a feeling the droid is going to be a massive fail, pretty much like every other phone that is supposed to "compete" with the iphone.
