Yes but basically a breed is wrong. They are NOT a breed. I worked for the BLM for years studying em. I know breeds. Mustangs are not a breed.

Basically speaking, mustangs are feral/wild horses.

so You're calling 100s of websites I pulled up wrong, and a lot of famous people wrong ok. gotcha opinions. kigers mustangs are a breed, but mustangs aren't. OK I didn't want to confuse the boys but I think we are arguing about the same thing. I put bascially in there for a reason.

Glad to see another horse person here. we're more opinionated then anyone.

Commonly used term for mustang, the one they've seen on the discovery channel is not a breed. The mustang most non horse people know, is not a breed.

Correct! but as a general term. I didn't want to get into the kiger, spanish, etc etc. those are breeds. Show picture of you're horses. I had about 5 barrel horses (quarters), and 20 minis before I got into my car. I work for a lady jumping a german warmblood. 17.3 hands, OMG pretty.

Oh minis! I love minis :-) I have a little blue roan gelding, he's adorable. He's our only mini, his name is Puddles. I let my then 6 year old niece name him.

My comp horses are
17.2h Irish sport horse/TB cross (H/J)
17.1h Hanoverian (Dressage, but he's real cute HOF)
14.3h Arab (she does everything English and Western)
13.2h Fjord pony (he's an awesome barrel/reining pony and also debuted on the hunter circuit this year)

I own a bunch of breeding stock/lesson horses including my newest addition, a gorgeous Dixieland Band baby.

I judge for the USHJA and USDA as well as teach/train.

I did barrel racing and exercised race horses till I was 18. Still exercise the tb's in the spring and summer. Doing jumping now for a lady. this horse is insulted by the little jumps and goes through them. He's loves jumping over 3ft+. Been jumping on the side since I was little but finally getting something out of it

This story is crazy sick. I seen a horse at a county fair once that was circumsized (no, not to be confused with supersized). It was so disturbing. I can still see that massive log of pink meat with the end looking so "human like". That is one thing I wish I had never seen. Now, stories like this brink puke to my throat.
