hopefully soon 500rwhp will be broke for me. The power and potential is there. Just have to decide for yourself.

I chose a v6 mustang to mod something different than a v8. Do you know how pissed people get when I pull them by car lengths. LOL You should see the 2002 z06 owner that got pulled by 4 cars, when I was at 385rwhp. He lives 4 doors down from my parents and wouldn't look my way for awhile.

The 6 has its place in the right situation. I wouldnt buy one again though but its just my opinion. I'd spend the few more $$ and just get an 8. The mods are better and more available and problems are easier to find solutions for. However, if I wasnt going to mod it at all, there is a very, very, very slim chance Id get one.

as a V6 driver, i say its up to you. i love my V6 it can get up at go when i want it to, but i personally love the sound of a V8. my next car is going to be a '11 GT i know that for sure, but my '00 V6 has had people saying that is has a unique sound because of it dual exhaust...which sadly i can take no credit for and i did get one guy asking me if it was camed, that i have no idea about. i bought it from a guy that was "building it for a drag car" and he never really told me what he did. i dont think that it is, but thats besides the ponit. In the right RPM a V6 sounds great, but a V8 with the right exhaust, well you'll have to pass me a towel. if you want great sound and good fuel economy get a V6 with IMO a MAC cat back. if you want great sound and dont car about fuel get a V8.

Thats kind of why I want to build the six. Just to be a little different. I dont really want 500 hp right now but it might be nice in future. My current goal for near future is 220. In about a year I would like to be making 300. If I decide to build it any further I may go for 450 or so. Like I said in my other thread though this will be on road tracks, not the drag strip. So 300 hp is plenty enough to put up a show. Consider that most ppl that run at my local track run riced hondas and things along those lines. You do get the occasional Ferrari and Porsche though.
