This lady just came into the shop and said her car was running bad. I told her I would go out there and look. She wanted a guy to look, but I told her I could handle it.

I get in, look to see if the cel light was on, and it the low fuel light. I turn it off so it's not sitting out there wasting gas. Told her she is low on fuel and it would be a good idea to get some fuel before it dies. She said it does that everytime its low on fuel and wanted to know why.

I said because its low on fuel...

You know she was lucky that you were nice and told her the obvious truth she was too stupid to see. But some people might have told her she would need to change her engine to fix the problem lol ...i've seen some girls really get screwed when it comes to fixing their cars....

I've seen some poor cars never have their oil changed....and then they wonder where that smoke comes from

right? They never change the oil, and wonder why the car fails after 30k miles, then they claim they are never gonna buy another (Insert car manufacturer here) Again.

I knew a guy that went 20k miles without an oil change on a BMW because he thought it was "maintenance free for 50k miles"

Its a turn off to me if a guy doesn't know anything about cars, he could be extremely smart in math or history whatever, but if he doesn't know anything about cars, I can only think of him as a moron.

I remember a girl in high school who was having engine problems with her 2 year old, 55K mile Toyota. After she described the hesitating, smoking car, I asked "did you ever put oil in it?" to which she said "No. It came with some when I bought it."
