I sold my first one to my friend and it died and he couldnt get it warrantied, got another one from my friend cuz he owed me money, it died shipped it out and now its worked for like 2 years

WOW dood realy you should have gotten the MW2 eddition for 400 its only 100 more then the elite and you get 100GB more mem, 2 controlers, and MW2

Nope got mine right after they cut the elite to $400 Last summer. I got mine for $225 still in the box and rapping but the box was damaged. got it from a friend got 3 red bars but found out my dog was messing with the wires and pulled the plug part way out of the brick (the removable one) and plugged it back in never had a problem since.

I went through 5 of them in like 4 years, and said to hell with microsoft.

The PS2 I had in high school still works like a champ, so I'll stick with Sony.

I know what you mean i had the original ps2 a week before it came out and it worked till about 2 and a half years ago. So my mom got me a ps2 slim. I still have it packed away ready to come out if i ever need to pull it out. never had a problem with my xbox did you have the elite or pro or arcade.

I don't know what edition. It had the 80gb hard drive, so Elite? I'm guessing.

If i am not mistaken that was one of the two pro versions (60 and 80 GB.) the elite has a 120GB hard drive. I could be wrong about your 80GB but i can tell you now that if it was the pro that would be why you had problems. I don't know anyone who has had a pro and hasn't sent it in to be fixed for some reason. I am the only one that has an elite as far as my friends go since i still payed less for it then they did for there pro. FTW!!!

Maybe...like I said, it was a few years ago. I don't remember much about it, because I had it less than a year as well.

That's another reason I'll never buy another one. I shouldn't be expected to pay $500+ to ensure that I never have a problem. Whether Microsoft fixes it for free or not is not the issue. I shouldn't need to get a system repaired 5 months after I bought it whether I spent $40 or $40,000 on it.

O no i understand i am just saying that is y most people like me are with you on that i would have gotten the pro if this guy didnt have the elite so cheap. or would have looked into ps3's altho they are more expencive.

They are not even closely related... The only thing similiar is the location of the magazine. It's a Bull Pup design, similiar to the SA80/L85, FAMAS, Tavor, AUG, etc etc.. except that it shoots 25mm grenades... it's a continuation fo the OICW project that was firmly REJECTED. The Tavor TAR-21 is an Israelli assault rifle that shoots the 5.56 NATO round out of a STANAG magazine... Just observing

Military Photo's is a great site. My only complaint is they look down us Airsofters, but, alas, thats the nature of that webpage... A lot of the new forum posters there make the rest of us airsofters look bad unfortunately...
