Around here is any sort of pick up truck with lots of plastic on it, jacked ridiculously high with an aftermarket exhaust that is loud as hell. They all drive like 6 year olds on big wheels. It just depends where you live I guess.

I had a problem like that on contour.org because i was talking about modding my 2.0 5 speed Mystique (mercury version on the contour) but i guess i talked about it too much and annoyed them. Also they kept telling me to get an SVT Contour cuz they're soo much faster and all this other B.S. Turns out that my 2.0 has almost the same 60' time as most stock SVT's, and if i were to do a little head work and some cam's i'd be faster than some slightly modded SVT's. But..... i got my Tempo project so i'm not doing that stuff yet. Weird thing is that they like my Tempo....

But yea, a lot of specialty forums are like that, like SVT, SHO, SVO, etc forums are kinda run by assholes.

some of that stuff happens on this site as well... its on every forum u go to... ive never been on any forum that wasnt like that... except that one guy on here that went to a prius forum, they seemd nice on there lol

I'm just glad that I am on this forum for most of my mustang forum time. I really don't like the special forums either. Even the bullitt forum gets gay sometimes. Everyone with slow ass cars it seems, thinks they are better than everyone else. And I hope I see some of those scion people out in town so we can race and I can shut them up.

I joined a challenger forum a few weeks ago because my sister has one and wants to start modding it. They seam to be good so far.

I have personaly noticed most muscle car people/forums are laid back for the most part they like to help and arnt complete asses. Imports think they are hot shit in there half falling apart looks like they just pulled the car out of the water cars. Its kinda a mind set i guess. I like TC's to be honest i think they look decent dont really know about performence of them but still.

This thread points out the exact reason why this forum (MM) is by far the best and feels more like a bunch ppl who are friends. It is definitely the most unique forum I have ever been a part of.

I'm a member of NASIOC and there are many hard core Subaru owners on that site, and they also have a busy OffTopic section.

My turbo Forester is my primary car...

....but I'd much rather be slummin with the stangs!
