Car hauling

I have my trailer, and I would like to make some extra money over winter break...

my questions are...

1. Am i going to need some type of insurance to haul cars for other people, since I will be making a profit?

What other type of things am I going to need? I am thinking just keeping it in state or the surrounding states. I have my Enclosed trailer, and normally when ever the truck is hooked to the trailer, it covers the trailer and what is in it, but I don't know if that is true if it is not my own car inside.

What type of price would you guys be willing to pay for an Enclosed Car ride for 50 miles, 100 miles, 200 miles? Or even just per mile? Remember diesel fuel is about 2.75 a gallon right now and my truck gets about 10 miles per gallon when towing this trailer.

Hoping I can make a little bit of money to help pay for some college.

if you are going to make a business out of it you will more then likely need to get your truck USdot approved. its not to hard just a few bucks too, but its a safety requirement. plus it looks more professional.
