Insurance??
I am just about to the point where I've decided that I'm just gonna have to get a newer car. I was just wondering if anyone would mind maybe sharing what the average monthly car insurance runs on like an 05/06/07 GT.
Thanks a lot, |

well it depends on what company you go with and how old you are to begin with.

Depends on a lot more than that. Companies may also check your loss history, credit history, claim history and definitely your driving history.
State Farm Insurance - Auto, Life, Homeowners, & More You can also check Progressive - they're "nice enough" to quote a few companies for you though I'm not sure how accurate they are with that.

And if you own a home, it helps too. I'm 32, $40/mo for full coverage for the Mustang, then an additional $20/mo for full coverage on a Jeep which is an addition to the policy, then $10/mo for liability for a POS Harley chopper. I have had no moving violations in 5 years, just stupid seat belt, no front plate and expired tag tickets.
Would only get cheaper is I get married, which would cost me more money... When I was 18, I bought a 96 S-10, $180/mo for full coverage... |

yep - the more policies you have with a single company, the better the discounts are too. So if you change auto carriers - change everything.
And preferably to these guys. State Farm Insurance - Auto, Life, Homeowners, & More

it's gonna be exspensive because of ur age.... are u gettin the car in ur name or your parents? tht plays into how much its gonna cost as well... my insurance is 368 b/c i had 2 speeding tickets
.... u'd be bttr off lookin for a 99-04 gt to start off with mainly b/c it would be cheaper... but if u can afford it got 4 it man!

I paid $288 being 21 with my GT and that was under my moms name and listed as a part time driver. I recently got quoted on a Jeep SRT8 under my own policy for $400 a month full coverage, with a good student discount from allstate. I also have 0 tickets and one small accident that wasn't my fault

Mine is 125$ a month full coverage.. This body style GT is 150$ for full coverage, but I have been with the same company for 6 years almost with no tickets or accidents (knock on wood) lol.

Statefarm FTMFW!!!! they are amazing!
But since you live with your parents they can put one of your parents on as primary driver of the GT and you on an easier vehicle. Any insurance company should do this.

I really wish people under the age of 25 with nicer + more cars than me would stop posting their age!
