i am not saying he is bad. just over ratted. look at the team he is on. he is surrounded by great players.
you take an average qb and give him a team of that caliber and they will look a lot better.

so again i am not saying he is bad. but he is not as good as eery one says or thinks. hence why he is over ratted.

Heh, I had a convo about F1 racing with someone the other day about something along those lines. You can take a decent driver and put him in an amazing car and he will win. Doesn't mean he is all that great just in a good car.

I will disagree. If the Colts had to rely on their backup QBs there is no way they would have the record they do today. Look at all the close games they have had this season, most of them won by late game scoring drives. They would be lucky to be 7-7 if Manning wasn't behind center.

i haven't had much time to watch foot ball this year. from all i have seen over the past few years that is where i get my opinion from.

Exactly the point I was telling him. He was talking about how Jenson Button moving to Mclaren was a great move. I told him it wasn't because Mclaren's cars are completely different than the Brawn car he was in. Jenson has gone 10+ plus years in F1 with only one first place win prior to this season. This season he won like 6 or 7 wins. It was all in the car.

Fernando Alonso on the other hand is an amazing driver, but was in the probably the shittiest car on the grind. The Renault's have one of the worst chassis and the slowest engine on the grind, yet he managed to finish in the top ten, which mau sound bad, but considering he literally had to fight this car every second speaks leaps and bounds to his skill. Thankfully next season Alonso will be with Ferrari
