1st year in I don't know how long that I have no clue what I'm getting for Christmas this year.

I told hubby no car parts this year. Last year I asked for car parts but he didn't know what to get so I had to tell him. That's no fun. I like surprises!

Hoping for a new watch but the one I asked for is still in the store.

Also the first year my kids don't have a clue what they are getting. I got them convinced the things they really wanted were either not affordable or out of stock. So they'll be happy I think.

I love Christmas!


Finished my cookies this morning. Decided to not do candy though. Unless my kids want to help. I'm too freakin' tired from being at the gym so much!

I didn't ask my parents for everything. This is the first year where every body has asked me "What do you want for Christmas", and my response is "I don't really want anything". Don't know why, but it's just different this year for some reason. I have had difficulty trying to figure out what to get other people this year as well.

for the past couple years ive told everyone i dont really want anything. at most an AM or newegg gift certificate will make me happy. no money this year for presents

Yea I noticed this year with the economy the way it is, and everyone pinching pennies, alot of us are in that "Need only" mind set. Therefore we know we have what we need therefore we dont want anything.

I didnt know what I wanted this year besides money, because I need that

But thats awesome about nobody having a clue what they are getting, should make for a fabulous Christmas morning... I cant remember the last time that I had no clue what I was getting, but I have been told on numerous occasions that Im a hard person to shop for so people have to come to me and see if I already have it or what specifically I want. I always tell them to just get me a card, as that takes thought and feelings and thats what I like. If I wanted 10 $50 trinkets, I would go out and buy them for myself. So it saves my friends money and means alot to me.

I know what my gf is getting me but I have no idea what my parents are getting me. My mom kept bugging me about it and I honestly didn't have anything in mind I wanted so I just threw together a list of car parts. But I doubt I'll be getting any cars parts. My mom, like my gf's dad, doesn't understand why I would take parts out of the car that are working just fine and replace them with new parts.

Did a little more shopping today. I don't think it's ever going to end. The kids want to go to the mall tonight. I'm exhausted. Last thing I want to do is go to the mall. I've been on vacation for a week and 2 days and haven't been able to relax at all.

Ah well...having fun.

BTW- Mama, your on... If your daughter resembles your personality in the slightest it would definitally be work waiting around for 10 years... ( Not to mention what guy in his late 30s wouldnt love to have a woman in her early 20s ). Suck it MM, I got first dibs on DaughterStang.

I had a Breitling, never had a Rolex. Someone else on the forum said they had a rolex. it wasn't me... I believe it was 06redfireGT that said he has a rolex. Another thing, I never bought my breitling it was a gift. I couldn't afford to spend that much on a watch at this point in my life. I have a Bulova that I wear everyday, the Breitling was stolen. After some coaching from Mama I wa able to get some valuables insured better.

i asked for a guitar amp and my mom said she didn't order it, but she was having problems with her email one day and she wanted me to check it out and i saw where she had received a confirmation email from musician's friend.. i didn't say anything about it, so now i have to act surprised lol

i never ask for car parts.. all the stuff i want is way too expensive, so i don't even waste my time. there's not a whole lot of things i want, really. i'm just gonna buy myself a novi 2000 soon and maybe a drum set then i should be good to go for a while

well i already have a real nice fender amp, so i just wanted something smaller that i could carry with me to my friend's house to mess around on

Yes Sir! That's what I tell myself every year when I go in for my annual review to find out if I'm gettin' a raise. If I don't expect one, I'll never be disappointed because you have to be a pretty big fuck up not to get a raise there.
