people with HID'S


i just noticed this tonight but when i turn them on the radio gets really staticy and when i turn them off its fine. i also have a shorty antenna. does this happen to anyone else?

It's because of the placement of the ballasts. Where did you put them? What is happening is they are causing interference in the signal.

i've had no problem with my HIDs or radio signal due to them...my ballasts are under my front bumper

i mounted one next to the CAI and the other on top of the fuse box

yeah thats probably why, the passenger ballast being so close to the antenna is causing frequency interference. thus causing the static
