Just read through some of the letters and cards that you helped gather, and all I can say is WOW!!! I grabbed about 10 random letters and cards to read, and they were just down right amazing!!! I am very tempted to scan and post every single letter that was sent. All of the donations have been very welcomed, but these cards and letters were the true icing on the cake! They were so hard hitting that I had to rethink my game plan on who to send them to. I DO NOT want these letters getting thrown in the trash or hung on some random wall...they are so great that they need to be read I'm going to show them to leadership later this week and see if I can get atleast one of the deployed Colonel's to distribute them out.


Everyone that has donated, please do not take this as I am only pointing towards him for thanks....what you all have done is down right amazing!! I owe all of you a beer for your contributions! If you read a few of these letters, you'd be in agreement that they will bring a few tears to your eyes!

I still can not believe how great this has turned out, I stand proud and salute all of you for making this such a huge success!

Happy Belated Veterans Day. Although you might not know me I am pleased to meet you. I thank you very much for your service. You are very brave & generous to be serving where you are. I hope you are having a pleasent time Are you Married? If so, I am sorry that you have to deal with this instead of spending time w/ your husband/wife. You are in my prayers. It is important for you to konw that god will bless you. Even if you think you are alone, it is never the case. This is an important part of life. People look up to you. Although I am a 13 year old girl, I am very proud of you.

Hell yeah dude post some up in here incase anyone overseas logs on and can read them! I think what would mean more than anything to these kids or the shool if someone wrote back or at least sent Jane Adams school a thank you letter. To be honest this all started out with a friend of mines wife at work. He was like " i think my wife might get a few kids to write letters at school". I didnt know he was going to show up with that many cards and letters! Hell post them up anyways just because its Christmas!
