Bought my XD(M) today.

Welp, went out during lunch today and bought my XDM. After going back and for the last month on what gun I wanted ( although, I have always been leaning towards the XDM ). But this gun is freaking sweet. This was by far the most comfortable gun I shot and am now looking forward to some unfortuanate bastard to break into my house

Anyone have any input or reviews on the Viridian Green laser sight? I know its big and bulky but this isnt a carry piece just for the home and car occasionaly.

Looks awesome dude. I was wanting to grab one for X-Mas but after loosing my job its not going to happen.

I have held the XD-M's they badass guns. Nice buy, but as far as laser sights go I'd ask Drgn. He's the resident firearms guru. I personally don't like laser sights, or flashlights. That's just my personal preference though.

Al, jus bought an XD-45 Tactical. It has a 5" barrel, it's similar but not the same gun.

Yep, I got the .45 tactical.

John, if you want a laser sight, get a Surefire X400 or a Streamlight TLR-2. Both of those are flashlights and lasers combined. Also, if it doesn't already have night sights, pick up a set of Trijicon night sights.

Definitly get the x400.

I saw you mentioned a green laser; don't go cheap on it. I bought a 50$ one, and a week later it was dead.

I have the tijicon night sights, and they're worth the money. Also something to look into John. I don't know if you ever plan on carrying this, but if you do Kramer Leather Products makes a nice holsters. The quality is unmatched.

My comment about reds gun was a response to true blues comment not a reply to mine. As for the laser sight, the viridian one is hardly a cheap one ( about $200 ), but I will look into those red as I like the idea of the light/laser combo. The light would come in handy for home defense cause you wouldn't be able to see shit if that was pointed into your face in a dark room. Thanks for the help with that red ( and am still considering one of those biometric safes you were showing me ).

Most cases I've seen have the clips laying so that the sides are up and down. I'm not gonna lie, at first glance I thought to myself, "What does this thing shoot? Pez?"

I had everything out and just put it all back in the case to take a pic for here. But I can garentee you its not an airsoft gun... But if you dont want to take my word for it you welcome to come over and we will see if it leaves a welt or a hole on you.

if your wanting a laser or a light, the quality of surefire products are unmatched..... the x400 is badass, but will cost a lot more than $200. i believe they around $400 but you get the most amazing customer service and a product that will never fail you..... police and military use them for a reason.

nce pistol. id like to get an xdm sometime.

I like the idea of the light cause you can put it in someones face and they cant see you but you can see everything about them ( wether they are carrying or whatnot ). Plus I live alone with two dogs, so no little kids or women to worry about.
