bigdeal.com
has anybody ever bought anything from this website? a friend told me about it last night. the way it works is the people who own the site go out and buy brand new items and then sell them with a starting bid of $0.00. each bid costs $.15 and you can end up buying things that usually cost $300 for like $.20. but the catch is that whatever you bid, even if you lose, you have to pay.

Idk but it seems sweet!
Altho a laptop sold for 588$ does that mean there is 1000 people that paid 400-550$ each?! I mean thats ridiculous!

looks like a cool concept, and im looking at it and for a single token it's 75 cents if u by 30, but then i looked at the winning bids and most are well over 30 tokens. seems like a cool concept, a little confused but thats cause im watching tv at the same time so im not thinking right. anyone else have any thoughts on it?
it could be depending if ur willing to throw the money down for the tokens and willing to stay up all night and watch the bid, i mean theres some ebay bidders out there that are good at waiting the timeline out.

ya but you have to make sure you win the bid, but you also have to make sure you don't over do it and pay more than the org. price

If I understand this correctly, you have to buy bids....lets say you spent $30 on bids, but then someone out bid you and won it for $31...so now what happens to the money you spent on bids?....you don't get a refund on that money, but instead get to use it as a credit towards the buy it now price of the product....don't think I'd want to risk it.
got that information from here, BigDeal.com Reinvents And Legitimizes Swoopo’s Controversial Auction Bidding Model
