why wont halo 2 work on my xbox 360

im trying to lay halo 2 and every time i put the disc in it says the disk is unreadable, but when i put it in my reg. xbox it runs just fine. im itching to play it cuz i havnt played in monthes. let me know if there is some download or something for it to work.

i thought it automagically downloaded any updates fr games to run on the 360. anyways let me know your thoughts. id rather not have to go out and buy another disc

Works just fine on my buddy's 360 - played online for hours. Must be an update you don't have or something cause the game does work on 360. Good luck!

you have to be connected to the internet through xbox live.. after you are connected, insert the disk and it will ask you if you want to update the game.. click yes or ok or whatever and it will ake the game backwards compatible so you can play it

Did you ever dl that updaete I linked you to in the other 360 thread? You have to update your console. You can do it a few different ways but I downloaded the update from xboxs website then burned it to disk and loaded it to the console.
