As for the car I am still in the process. It's slow going with the amount I've been working lately. Long story short, my salesman offered to buy the car from me and sell it back at the same price, basically refinancing it. As such I have to get it emissions tested and inspected. It passed e last Tuesday, and I'm taking it in tomorrow for the safety inspection. Then it's a matter of doing the paperwork at the dealer.

This is where the story came from (I was in the hospital when you created the thread). Be sure that you got in writting that he'll sell it back to you at the same price. I'm sure you got it in writting. But I've seen a TON of examples where someone said they would do something, didn't get it in writting, and someone else got screwed.

I hear you. That won't be happening to me. I've been dealing with this dealer and salesman for over 10 years, and have bought 4 different vehicles from this salesman. A handshake will suffice. Not to mention the business aspect of it. Up here, my 07 isn't worth what he is going to 'buy' it for from me.

If I'm wrong, I'll come back here and tell you I just saved 600 dollars a month.

I hope everything is well with you regarding your hospital visit.
