anyone runing Firefox with vista??

dont know what the hell is going on but i install firefox and it works for a little while and then i go to use it again and i get this message

Code:

The program must close to allow a previous installation attempt to complete. Please restart.

dont know what the hell is going on. theres nothing in my control panel to uninstall firefox. had to go to the firefox folder in the program files to uninstall and now wont let me install it again and i really dont want to have to use IE7.

any help please

vista has so many problems but seems like your running 2 installs for the same program.

im seriously going to buy XP and run it on the other prosessor if i can.

xp is bad too just not like vista i had a friend fix my xp he killed processes that weren't needed and such but I ran vista for like 2 days and said no and got rid of it fast

I haven't had any problems with running Firefox on Vista.

ok i just clicked run as administrator and it let me in.

how can i be set as administrator on everything since this is my computer.

ahhhh i hate windows.... i have a macbook & don't miss PC's or windows one bit.. OSX owns vista... but anyways, i dunno whats up with your issues with firefox....

go to your control panel and under users and passwords, set yourself as administrator for all the variables.
