ok ran into a problem.

Step 2: Make sure that you have flash_image on your system, in /system/xbin/ or /system/bin.

i dont have that

have i already messed somethin up?

i think the droidmod rom already comes with the overclocking image, you should just be able to set your profiles and regular speed and should be good to go

this is what i used when i first overclocked

im guessing you can substitute the 1ghz image for a 1.2 image though

Keeping Command Prompt open and pointed to our tools folder, we now need to input the following command:
adb shell flash_image boot /sdcard/oc1ghz.img
Flashes the overclocking image to the System Bin flash_image.
You will now need to go back into mount options and select “Unmount /system” and “Unmount /sdcard” to unmount them. Navigate back to the SPRecovery main menu and select “reboot system now”.

i made it that far but i cant enter the command it wants me to. any ideas?

are you using the shell thing from your computer? do you have debugging on on the phone? do you have the phone mounted or unmounted (needs to be unmounted)?

the phone is unmounted. i just did the reboot recovery step and mounted the system and the sd card

boot up in recovery then go down to backup/restore
